Provided by AGPIn a joint statement, 11 members of the House of Commons and one member of the House of Lords condemned the action in strong terms, saying the Global Sumud Flotilla was a peaceful civilian mission carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza, where they said civilians are facing severe hardship.

Signatories to the statement included MPs Adnan Hussain, Iqbal Mohamed, Jeremy Corbyn, Shockat Adam, Richard Burgon, Ayoub Khan, John McDonnell, Imran Hussain, Graham Leadbitter, Simon Opher, Kim Johnson, along with Lord John Hendy of the House of Lords.
