Israel genocide in Gaza continues relentlessly
In the latest update, officials reported that 116 bodies were recovered over the past 24 hours, while 463 others sustained injuries. This brings the total number of injured individuals to 134,105 since the beginning of the conflict.
“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” the statement said.
Israel resumed its assault on Gaza on March 18, breaking a temporary ceasefire and prisoner swap deal that had been in place since January. Since that date, 6,315 more Palestinians have been killed and 22,064 have been wounded, based on reported figures.
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, citing accusations of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza.
Israel is also currently being prosecuted in a separate genocide case at the International Court of Justice in connection with its actions in the coastal enclave.
